Camera Resolution The Powerlead doorbell has a resolution of 720P, which is a fairly standard resolution for a product like this.

Viewing Angle 120° horizontal axis (left to right) although there is no information on the viewing angle on the vertical axis (up and down.)

That viewing angle means that a wide area outside your front door can be monitored and although it is not the the largest viewing angle of video doorbells, it is not the smallest by any means.

This viewing angle and the video resolution results in a very satisfactory experience

motion-detection Motion Detection provides an extra layer of security because the PowerLead does not just notify you when someone rings the bell. It alerts you when someone approaches your front door or enters your front yard.

However, I am not sure if you can adjust the sensitivity settings for the detection or set up customisable zones. I am waiting to have some questions answered.

Night Vision The device has night vision but I cannot tell you anything about how it works.

Live View I am not sure if this device has Live View

Audio The PowerLead has 2 way audio which enables you to talk to your visitor and them to talk to you. You can start to welcome a guest before you have even opened the front door or you can explain to an unwelcome guest that you are unable to come to the door right now!

Wi-Fi: This device connects to your home Wi-Fi. However, I do not have any other specific details about it

Bluetooth This device does not use Bluetooth to connect to anything.

LAN/ Cat 5. This device will also connect to your broadband with an ethernet cable if you cannot get it to connect to the Wi-Fi or if your router is very close to your front door!

Storage Videos and photos can be stored on your phone, or iPad using the app. You do not need to sign up and pay for a cloud storage service.

Being able to store and share videos and photos is very useful in situations where a crime has been committed and you need to pass on information to your local police.

How the PowerLead is powered is an issue that is confusing lots of people.

220V It is powered by a 16V adapter that needs to be plugged into an electrical socket.

Battery This device is not powered by a battery.

Doorbell Wire Neither can this device be powered by existing doorbell wire!

Power over Ethernet. Even though the Powerlead can be connected to your broadband via an ethernet cable, the cable cannot provide power to the device
